A San Antonio native, Dr. Phelps has been caring for patients' eyes since 1991, with a special focus on contact lenses and glaucoma management. She became an optometrist for the moment a patient sees clearly again, and that joy still guides her care today.

Glaucoma often has no early warning signs.
Vision loss from glaucoma usually happens slowly and without pain. Regular testing helps find changes early, and our doctors monitor them closely over time.
Ask about glaucoma testing if you:
- Have a family history of glaucoma
- Are over age 60
- Are of African American or Hispanic/Latino heritage
- Have diabetes
- Have been told your eye pressure is high
We accept most vision and medical plans
Routine exams are usually billed to vision plans; glaucoma care is usually billed to medical insurance. We'll check your coverage before your visit.
